Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Monday through Friday clinic and surgery plus night call; separate weekend call and rounding rotation

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient and outpatient setting


• Admissions required


• 20 patients per shift


• Call coverage for both clinic and hospital


• Call response time: 30 minutes


• Expected call volume: 5 phone consults, 25 patients seen, 1 admission


• EMR: Athena and Meditech


• Trauma Level 3


• Support staff: 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 3 office staff

Requirements:

• Board Eligible


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• General urology for adult patients


• Ureteroscopy


• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy


• Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)


• Nephrectomy and prostatectomy experience preferred
