A full-time Academic Primary Care Physician is sought to join the core faculty team for a newly established Rural Family Medicine Residency Program in Winsted, CT. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the education of future rural family medicine physicians while providing outpatient care for patients of all ages (adult-only care optional).

Position Overview
Title: Academic Primary Care Physician (Clinical + Faculty role)
Location: Winsted, CT (Litchfield County, Western Connecticut)
Setting: 100% outpatient, office-based Primary Care
Schedule: Weekdays only; mix of precepting, patient care, and admin time
Call: Very limited approx. 2 weekends per year and 1 weeknight every 2 months

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Starting at $250,000+
Additional Compensation: Uncapped incentive bonus, loan repayment support, sign-on bonus, and relocation stipend
CME: Paid CME time and budget, professional license reimbursement

Ideal Candidate
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine
Eligible for or holds an unrestricted medical license in the State of Connecticut
