Locums - Emergency Medicine - Outpatient - Carmel, IN
Why This Role?
- Urgent need for multiple emergency physicians through end of 2025
- Temporary privileges available
- Credentialing timeline of 60-90 days
- Modern ED setting with Cerner EMR and APP support
Duration: ASAP - December 31, 2025
Coverage Type: Outpatient
Schedule: Full-time emergency shifts, 16-20 patients per shift
Clinical Details:
- 23-bed emergency department
- Admits unassigned patients as needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Support team includes 2-3 RNs, 1-2 APPs, and 1 office staff
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- IN license or IMLC
- ABLS
- ACLS
- ATLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Clean history
Skills Needed:
- Broad emergency care for adult and pediatric populations
- Confident in managing acute cases in a high-volume ED
- Ability to work independently in a team-based environment
