• Long-term, full-time APP need at a high-acuity academic facility


• Split coverage across OR, clinic, and ICU floor with home-based call


• Structured weekday and weekend schedule with team support

Duration: ASAP - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6 AM - 6 PM in-house. Weeknight call 6 PM - 6:30 AM. Weekend call every sixth weekend, Friday 6 PM - Monday 6:30 AM (home call).

Clinical Details:

• OR first assist, EVH, and some ICU floor time


• Clinic and inpatient rounding on assigned patients


• Approximately 3 to 4 patients per shift


• Call coverage for assigned patients only


• No admissions required


• EMR: Cerner


• Equipment: Marquet


• Support staff includes 1 MA, 8 PAs/NPs, and 3 office staff

Requirements:

• Board Eligible


• Active PA license


• ACLS


• BLS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• OR first assist for cardiothoracic surgery


• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)


• Outpatient cardiovascular clinic experience


• ICU and inpatient floor rounding


• Efficient use of Cerner EMR
