Why This Role?

• Full-time APP position with consistent weekly hours


• High-acuity cardiothoracic program with broad exposure


• Mix of OR, clinic, and some ICU floor work


• Structured call rotation with in-house and home-based coverage

Duration: ASAP - 12/31/2025

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6 AM - 6 PM in-house, plus beeper call every sixth weekend

Clinical Details:

• Outpatient and inpatient settings with no admissions required


• 3 to 4 patients per shift


• Call for assigned patients only


• Weekend call: Friday 6 PM through Monday 6:30 AM (home call)


• Weeknight call: 6 PM - 6:30 AM (home call)


• Support staff includes 1 MA, 8 PAs/NPs, and 3 office staff


• EMR: Cerner


• Equipment: Marquet

Requirements:

• Board Eligible


• Active PA license


• ACLS


• BLS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• OR first assist for cardiovascular procedures


• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)


• Cardiothoracic ICU and inpatient floor management


• Outpatient cardiovascular surgical support
