Experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon for Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

A leading healthcare system in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a collaborative, mission-driven team. Position Overview:

• Perform a full range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures

• Provide patient care in both inpatient (rounding) and outpatient (clinic) settings

• Share on-call responsibilities (10"12 days per month, including 2 weekends)

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary medical team

• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and care coordination

• See an average of approximately 20 patients per day

• Help build and grow the Cardiothoracic Surgery program as the second surgeon on the team

• Participate in emergency surgical coverage

Qualifications:

• Must have proven experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon (not open to new graduates or Board Eligible-only candidates)

• Active Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required (no lapsed certifications)

• Clean Malpractice and Licensing History and 6+ years of relevant experience
