Job Summary:

We are seeking a full time Pulmonary Medicine Physician board-certified or board-eligible in critical care to join a busy, hospital-based practice in Salem, Virginia.

Qualified candidates:
  • Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
  • Must be board certified / board eligible in pulmonary disease
  • Must be board certified / board eligible in critical care
  • Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
  • Primarily outpatient position with some inpatient consults
  • Utilize dedicated intensivists for ICU coverage
  • Interest/training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS
  • Critical care shifts available if desired
  • Teaching available for internal medicine residents if desired
  • Every 3rd night call every 3rd weekend call for pulmonary only
