General Surgery | Established Practice | Northeastern NJ-23 mi from NYC

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center has an opening for a full-time BE/BC General Surgeon to care for patients at its established, employed practice in Westwood, NJ- 23 mi from New York City.

General Surgeon at PVMC perform a full range of general surgery operations—including elective, emergency, and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) cases—in OR and GI lab environments. Provide in-house floor coverage, conduct daily rounds, manage consults, and support the Emergency Department with bedside procedures as needed. Oversee preoperative consultations, coordinate postoperative care, engage with patients and their families, and ensure smooth transitions across care settings. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia, nursing, PAs, residents, and other specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• APP Support
• No Weekends
• Onsite lab and X-ray
• Procedure Rooms: 5
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Epic EMR

Salary starting at $400,000
