**Duration**: ASAP - Ongoing
**Coverage Type**: Call Only
**Schedule**: 7 days on (7a-7a), 7 days off; beeper call with 30-minute response time
**Call Type**: Inpatient consults and emergent GI procedures

**Clinical Details:**
- 3 to 4 outpatient scopes daily Monday to Friday
- Unplanned inpatient endoscopy and rounding
- Admissions required
- No NP/PA support
- EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level 2 facility

**Requirements:**
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active IN license or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS
- Clean history

**Skills Needed:**
- Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, varices injection)
- ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) - Preferred
- PEG tube placement
- Esophageal dilation and manometry
- Small bowel biopsy
- Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid)
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Esophageal manometry interpretation
