Job Description
We are seeking a Neurology Hospitalist to join our Neuroscience Institute in Pennsylvania. This is a locum tenens opportunity covering an inpatient neurology service with a consistent, rotating weekly schedule.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: December 2, 2025
- End Date: July 7, 2026
- Shift Schedule: Tuesday 7:00 AM to the following Tuesday 7:00 AM (alternating weekly)
- Coverage includes key holiday weeks: New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Daily inpatient rounding, consults, and follow-up visits
- Emergency Department consults (non-stroke)
- No stroke coverage (covered by stroke team)
- Telephonic call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM daily (average 2–3 calls per night)
- Secure EPIC chat may be used to respond to after-hours inquiries
- Patient Volume: 10–15 patients/day (including 6–8 new consults/day)
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Neurology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA
- Will consider IMLC candidates with a valid Letter of Qualification
- Must complete Pennsylvania child abuse clearance (includes fingerprinting)
