**Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery PA - Wausau, Wisconsin**
**Assignment Dates**: ASAP - Ongoing
**Coverage Need**
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 3:00p; call starts at 3:00p
- Duration: Ongoing
- Call: 1 call day per week + 1 backup; 1:4 weekend rotation
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: 20 minutes
**Position Details**
- Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Provider Type: Physician Assistant
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Call Type: Beeper call
- Admissions Required: No
- EMR System: Epic
- Temporary Privileges Available: No
- Trauma Level: 3
- Patients Per Shift: 1-3
- Beds in Department: 3
- Surgical Volume: 1-3 procedures/day
- Primary Duties: First assist in cardiothoracic procedures and vein harvesting
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 PA/NP, 5 office staff
**Submissions Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active WI License or IMLC
- Clean History
- ACLS, BLS
**Skill Requirements**
- First assist in cardiothoracic surgery
- Vein harvesting
