Locums - Part-time Optometrist coverage on Fridays in Downtown Los Angeles

Well-respected healthcare facility is seeking an Optometrist for part-time coverage on Fridays every week starting ASAP for at least 6 month in Downtown Los Angeles.

• BC/BE Optometrist
• Friday 8a-5pm starting asap for at least 6 months
• Typically see 20-25 ppd
• Will see ages 5+
• Provide visual examinations, including identifying potential pathology. Responsible for the detection and diagnosis of abnormal visual, ocular, and/or system conditions. 
• Prescribe corrective lenses, diagnose and treat eye diseases and prescribe therapeutic drugs where permitted by law
• Collaborate with Ophthalmologist and other healthcare providers for coordinated care
• Educate patients on eye care, document treatments and exams
• Equipment provided at facility: Auto-refractor, Topcon Maestro OCT, lensometer, phoropter, slit-lamp, BIO
• EMR is Athena
