**Coverage Need**
- Assignment Dates:
- August 1-3, 2025 (potential for August 4-5 as well)
- Ongoing needs anticipated for 2026
- Schedule: 24-hour call for OB and GYN ED
- Shift Type: Call only (no clinic or office patients)
- Response Time: Within 20 minutes (in-house presence not required)
- Reason: Permanent provider decreasing coverage

**Position Details**
- Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- Procedures Required: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, gynecological surgeries
- Monthly Deliveries: ~40
- Daily Patient Volume: 16-20
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Dedicated MA, Practice Manager

**Submissions Requirements**
- Active California license
- Board Certification (OB/GYN)
- Fellowship Trained (IM/FP/OB-GYN)
- BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS: Yes (required during credentialing)
- Clean malpractice / background history
- Availability at time of name clear
- Local providers (no flights): Highly preferred
- Must meet Active staff status without restrictions (no proctoring/monitoring)

**Skill Requirements**
- Full-scope OB/GYN including deliveries and surgical procedures
- Comfortable working independently in a 24-hour call setting
- Ability to respond within 20 minutes to hospital
- Proficient in Cerner EMR system
