New General Orthopedic Opportunity 3 days a month/ no call Central Maine

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon (ORS) to join our team in Maine. This role includes 2 days in the clinic and 1-2 days in the OR. We provide travel, housing, and medical malpractice insurance to ensure a smooth experience.

Position Details:

• 1-year 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
• Clinic may see 5-9 patients – full day in the OR is 3-4 surgeries
• 8-hour daily rate guaranteed
• No Call
• Travel and lodging is provided
• Perform surgical procedures as scheduled
• Provide high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the best outcomes for patients

• Knee Arthroscopy
• Patellar Realignment
• Shoulder Arthroscopy
• Open Shoulder with Subacromial Decompression and Distal Clavicle Resection
• Trigger Finger Release
• Carpal Tunnel Release
• Cubital Tunnel Release
• Ganglion Cyst Removal
• Fracture Fixation (both internal and external)

Requirements:

• Board-certified/board-eligible
• Active Maine state license or IMLC
