Job Description

The New Mexico Heart Institute, part of Lovelace Medical Group, invites applications for a part-time board-certified general cardiologist to join our expert team in Albuquerque, NM. With over 30 years of providing exceptional cardiovascular care, NMHI has become a trusted institution for both patients and providers. This opportunity is ideal for general cardiologists looking to thrive in a hospital-based cardiology practice, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights

- Part-Time Employment (.5 FTE)
- Single-Specialty Group: New Mexico Heart Institute / Lovelace Medical Group
- Multi-physician practice where rounding responsibilities will alternate among the partners
- Team consists of 36 Physicians, 17 NPs, 6 PAs, and support staff
- On-Site Echo, Nuclear, and CT
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Daily Patient Load: 15
- Call required

Minimum Qualifications

- BC/BE in General Cardiology
- Fellowship-Trained in Cardiology
- 1–5 years of experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
