Position Title: ER RN

Available Shifts: Days, Nights and Mids

We are an accredited healthcare facility with over 1,400 skilled employees and 500+ experienced providers. Our 288-bed, acute-care hospital provides 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties. Our facilities include a state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI-Resuscitation, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Imaging Services, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic/Spine Center, Physical Therapy Services, Rehabilitation Center, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Surgical Weight Loss Center, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and much more. Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room RN to join our team. To be successful in this role you must be a quick thinker, decision-maker, and multitasker, with a willingness to adapt to whatever the day may bring. In this role you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

· Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages

· Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation

· Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.

· Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually

· You will provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals

· You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient focused and safety aware at all times

 

Qualifications:

·         1 year of Recent Acute Care ER RN experience Required

  • If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
  • If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN  License) 

·         Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

·         BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date

·         Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

·         Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

·         PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
