• Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with 1 - 2 weekday calls and 1 weekend per month
• Average 1 surgery per day -- patient mix 95% pediatric, 4% neonate, 1% adult
• 100% hospital-based practice
• Surgical team focused on cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Experience required in open CV surgery, valve repair, and congenital defects
• PALS and APLS certifications required
• No ER call required
• 10% callback rate for weekday and weekend calls
