**Duration**: ASAP Ongoing
**Coverage Type**: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
**Schedule**: 1-2 weeks/month, ideally 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off
- 24-hour trauma call coverage (beginning Mondays)
- Clinic follow-ups included

**Clinical Details:**
- Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Rounding: Assigned patients
- EMR: Epic
- Beds in department: 200
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: 20 minutes
- Phone consults: ~5/day
- Patients seen: 3 5/day
- Admissions: 1 2/day

**Requirements:**
- Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
- Licensed in ID or IMLC
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
- Clean history
- Temporary privileges available

**Skills Needed:**
- General adult neurosurgery
- Trauma neurosurgery
- Tumor management
- VP shunt placement
- Spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- ICP monitor placement
- External traction application
