- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with organizational goals, including expansion, diversification, and acquisition initiatives.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure safe, efficient daily operations and contract compliance across practices. Lead Operations Managers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Financial Management: Own top- and bottom-line performance through budget planning, financial analysis, productivity monitoring, and cost control.
- Growth & Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities—organic, hybrid, or acquisition-based—while collaborating with sales, marketing, and medical leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with hospital executives, payers, physicians, and vendors. Serve as the submarket liaison for Managed Care.
- Shared Services & Quality: Champion the delivery of Shared Services support, promote a unified organizational culture, and advocate for safety and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Location:
Must reside in Houston, TX or be willing to relocate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in medical practice management or hospital leadership.
- Proven ability to develop pro formas, negotiate contracts, and lead healthcare operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at building relationships with physicians, hospital partners, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and team motivation capabilities.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Skilled negotiator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- High emotional intelligence, personal accountability, and entrepreneurial drive.
