**Coverage Need**
- Start Date: 9/1/2025
- End Date: Ongoing
**Position Details**
- Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm or until procedures are done
- No clinic, call, or weekends
- Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- EMR: Athena & Meditech
- Admissions required: Yes
- Hospital/surgery center privileges required: Yes
- Temporary privileges available: Yes
- Stroke certified facility: Yes
- Beds in department: 2
- Support staff: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 PA/NPs, 4 office staff
**Submissions Requirements**
- Active KY license or IMLC
- Board certified or board eligible
- Clean history
- ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
**Why This Role?**
- High-procedure volume role with no clinic or call responsibilities
- Flexible 2-3 weeks/month schedule through end of 2025, possibly into 2026
- Opportunity to support permanent search in a well-equipped Gastro Suite
- Trauma Level 5 facility with full specialty skill requirements met by support staff
