Job Description
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to support our expanding ICU team. This is a high-priority opportunity offering flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and full travel accommodations. Candidates must be Illinois licensed and capable of managing critically ill patients in a collaborative ICU setting.
Position Details:
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day and night); Sunday through Saturday
- Schedule Flexibility:
- Minimum 4+ consecutive shifts per assignment
- Weekend-only availability is acceptable
- Estimated 20 shifts/month
- Call: None; In-house coverage only
- Patient Load: 5–10 patients per shift
- EMR: Epic
- Rounds: Daily at 10 AM and 10 PM
- Procedures Required:
- Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement
- Arterial line placement
- Hemodialysis (HD) line placement
- Intubation (based on experience and comfort)
Requirements:
- License: Active Illinois NP or PA license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CSR, DEA
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in critical care required
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
