**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: November 17th, 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
- Day shifts: 8a-4p (or earlier based on census)
- Night: Pager call only
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: ~90 days
- Call: Beeper call, 30-minute response time

**Clinical Details**
- Setting: Inpatient GI
- Department: 20 beds
- Avg: 10 patients/day, 6-8 seen during call, 4-5 admissions, 2-3 phone consults
- Rounding on assigned and unassigned patients
- Support: 3 RNs, 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 2 office staff
- Stroke certified facility

**Requirements**
- Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active IN license or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Clean history

**Skills Needed**
- Upper GI endoscopy: biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder cautery, varices injection, PEG
- Esophageal dilation, manometry and interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI: flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
