**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA | Inpatient + Call | Marshfield, WI**
**Why This Role?**
- Hands-on surgical assist and mentorship role at a Level 2 trauma center
- 3-4 weeks/month of ongoing coverage through the end of the year
- Beeper call with fast 15-minute response time
- Opportunity to support and help train newly hired APCs
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: September 22, 2025
- End Date: December 31, 2025
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: 3-4 weeks per month
- Call: Beeper, 1:3 rotation, 15-minute response time
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: ~60 days
- Temporary privileges: Available
**Clinical Details**
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Rounding on assigned patients
- Assisting in cardiothoracic surgeries
- Providing support and training to new APC hires
- Stroke certified facility
- Trauma Level: 2
- Support: 2 MAs, 2 PA/NPs, 2 office staff
**Requirements**
- Certified NP or PA with cardiothoracic surgery experience
- BLS certification
- Ability to assist in surgery and provide APC mentorship
- Clean history
- Licensure: No state license restriction
**Skills Needed**
- Cardiothoracic surgical assist
- Inpatient and outpatient management
- Team training and mentoring
- Call coverage for surgical service
