Job Description

A nationally respected health system is seeking a dynamic Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy Operations to lead pharmacy and nutrition services at its Central Florida hospital. As the highest-ranking pharmacy leader on-site, you'll oversee inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory services--guiding strategy, operations, and medication safety across multiple teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing and Patient Operations Officer, this executive role is pivotal in driving quality, compliance, and patient-centered outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or Master's in Pharmacy, is a licensed Florida pharmacist in good standing, and has at least 5 years of leadership experience, including 2 years at the hospital pharmacy director level or above. Candidates with Lean/Six Sigma training, board certification, and a background in pediatric or academic medical settings are strongly preferred. Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and system-level thinking are essential.

Based in the heart of Central Florida's thriving metro region, this full-time, on-site role offers a very competitive salary ($155K-$250K depending on experience), up to 15% annual leadership incentive, full benefits, and potential relocation support.
