**Inpatient Gastroenterologist – Full-Time Opportunity**
**Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology**
Position Highlights:
• Full-time Board Eligible / Board Certified Inpatient Gastroenterologist opportunity
• Focus on high-quality patient care, collegiality, and a supportive work environment
• Practice located at a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center
• State-of-the-art endoscopy suite with experienced support staff
• Consult-only service – all admissions managed by hospitalist and intensivist teams
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base salary of $800K for 182 shifts per year
• Flexible shift contracts available (fewer shifts negotiable)
• Productivity bonuses available from day one
• Starting and retention bonuses up to $180K
• Paid relocation and moving allowance
• CME reimbursement
• Paid malpractice insurance
• Comprehensive benefits package
Team & Support Structure:
• Join two other inpatient GI physicians
• APP support available 7 days a week
• Hepatology and transplant support via visiting subspecialists (twice/month)
• Full-time hepatology APP on staff
• Two fellowship-trained advanced GI specialists in the practice
• Opportunity to perform ERCP/EUS procedures with additional compensation
• Epic EMR and latest Provation system for endoscopy documentation
Surgical & Specialty Collaboration:
• Experienced general surgery group with 24/7 in-house trauma/acute care surgery service
• Colorectal fellowship-trained surgeon joining in Fall 2025
• Two GI pathology fellowship-trained specialists on pathology team
• Equity opportunity in a joint venture endoscopy center anticipated by 2027
