As the ER Medical Director at Harrisburg Medical Center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and operational efficiency in the ED. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and make a significant impact on patient outcomes and experiences.

 

• Annual Volume: 10,000 patients

• EMR: Epic EMR

• 12 and 24-hour shifts, offering flexibility

• Full-time (144hrs./month)

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department

• Lead and collaborate with a team of dedicated clinicians

• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered consistently

• Provide clinical leadership and support to ED staff

• Collaborate with directors to address ED-Hospitalist issues and maintain an excellent ED and Hospitalist relationship

 

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Primary Care and/or Family Medicine

• Active, unrestricted medical license in Illinois

• DEA, CSL

• ACLS, PALS

• Proficiency in emergency procedures and interventions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Pay/Benefits:
