Job Description

Hospital in eastern Tennessee is seeking a PRN inpatient Psychiatrist to join their team. This unit services an adult, sub-acute population, as well as some geriatrics and has a large support system for behavioral health services. Enjoy low cost of living, excellent public and private schools, breathtaking views, and lots of outdoor recreational opportunities.

PMHNP's on staff to assist the unit and to see adult consults. Hours/Day: 8-Hour day, can begin at 8am or 9am. 8-5 or 9-6. 2nd certs (CON's) during call: 2nd certs are required for any TN admissions which are involuntary. These are done via laptop or tablet and secure portal. Main diagnosis: bipolar, schizo affective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, suicidal ideations. EMR: EPIC. Easy access to a Regional Airport.
