Skills Needed

Required:
General anesthesia (adults, pediatrics)
Spinal & epidural anesthesia
Neurosurgical (spine required, head preferred)
Complex orthopedic cases
Ventilation management
Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues

Preferred:
Regional anesthesia
Obstetrical cases
Thoracic (non-cardiac)
Complex vascular
Pain management techniques
Post-op epidural & extremity blocks
Central & arterial line placement

Requirements
Board Certified CRNA with minimum 1 year of experience
Active NM license (no IMLC – must be NM license)
Must reside 90+ miles from facility
ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing regional blocks (training will not be provided – case logs required)
Clean background; malpractice claims/gaps must be explained in submission
Credentialing: ~90 days (temporary privileges available)
Enrollment in NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) required

Additional Notes
Pediatric dentistry and ultrasound-guided regional blocks a plus (not mandatory)
No overtime rate (flat rate assignment)
Providers must be willing to work weekends and take call
Provider must contract with agency prior to bid submission
