Job Details:
Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (inpatient/outpatient, OR, consults, rounding – no clinic time)
Call: Beeper; begins after daily clinical hours, ends before next day’s shift
Call ratio: 100% coverage during assigned week
Call response time: 30 minutes during business hours
Call coverage blocks: Friday PM – Friday PM (7 days)
Patients per shift: 11–13
Admissions per shift: 1–4
EMR: Epic
Temporary privileges available
Beds in department: 175
Nearest airports: Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Baltimore

Required Skills:
Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration, variceal injection)
PEG placement
Esophageal dilation & manometry (including interpretation)
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy & sigmoidoscopy (flexible & rigid)
Colonoscopy (biopsy, polyp excision)
Preferred Skills:
ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic)
Liver biopsy
Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management

Requirements:
Board certified in Gastroenterology
Active Pennsylvania license required
BLS and ACLS required
Clean malpractice and credentialing history
Will accept multiple providers
