Job Details:
Coverage type: Call only (inpatient)
Call type: In-house and STEMI
Response time: 1 hour for in-house; <30 minutes for emergency/STEMI
Average call volume (24 hrs): 20–25
Average patients seen per shift: 15–20
No routine admissions (hospitalist handles, except for STEMI)
EMR: Epic
Support staff: 7 RNs, 7 MAs, 6 NP/PAs, 3 office staff
Nearest airports: Fort Smith (FSM) and XNA (Northwest Arkansas National Airport)
Lodging: Homewood Suites recommended
Requirements:
Board certified in Interventional Cardiology
Active Arkansas license required (IMLC accepted)
ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required
Clean malpractice and NPDB history required
Will accept multiple providers
Location:
Fort Smith, Arkansas – a historic river city with easy access to outdoor recreation and less than 1 hour from the Ozark National Forest.
