**Position: Hospitalist Medical Director**
**Location: North Carolina**
**Board-Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine**

Overview:
• Provide leadership, strategic planning, and oversight of clinical initiatives to improve patient safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and healthcare teams to implement best practices and improve outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead patient safety and quality improvement initiatives (e.g., mortality, readmissions, patient experience).
• Participate in facility and corporate committees with measurable deliverables.
• Oversee budgetary goals, revenue, and expense management.
• Develop best practice protocols and assist with physician education.
• Support strategic planning, revenue growth, and service expansion.
• Ensure corporate compliance, including E&M training for physicians.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and evaluation of providers.
• Address patient and physician concerns to facilitate resolution.
• Organize and chair team meetings to foster collaboration.
• Drive process improvement efforts and resolve operational issues.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• Current DEA license
