Job Details:
Coverage type: 24-hour call + inpatient rounding/admissions
Average inpatients: 5–10 per day
Imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and OR all onsite
EMR: Cerner
Team: 1 neurosurgeon, 1 ortho-spinal surgeon, neurosurgery APPs in clinic
Call: Emergent call and emergent surgeries required
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage per day (includes 4 gratis hours)
Orientation: Paid at ½ projected hourly rate
Travel/lodging: Flight, car, fuel, mileage, hotel covered (hotel cap $150/night, no 3rd party booking; tax exempt)
Timesheets: Reverse invoicing via DocTime (no paper)

Required Skills:
Must perform both spinal and cranial neurosurgery
Comfortable with emergent surgeries and inpatient rounding
Fellowship-trained with at least 2–3 years of experience

Requirements:
Board certified (no BE accepted)
Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
ACLS required
Clean background (minor malpractice acceptable, no actions)
Minimum 2–3 years post-fellowship neurosurgery experience
Availability and rates must be submitted.
