Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Intensivists to join our collaborative PICU team on a per diem basis at Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children’s Hospital, located on the campus of Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in beautiful Germantown, TN—a vibrant suburb of Memphis.

Position Highlights:

  • 300–400 annual PICU admissions
  • In-house daytime coverage with at-home night call
  • Procedural sedation provided in the PICU
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Admissions and management of critically ill pediatric patients
    • Family consultations and communication with referring physicians
  • Work alongside a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist team also managed by Pediatrix
  • Access to a wide range of pediatric subspecialty support including:
    • Neurology, Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, ENT, Pulmonology, and Pediatric Surgery

Qualifications
  • Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
  • TN Medical License or active IMLC preferred
  • Minimum 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience required
  • Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience required

 

Benefits and Compensation

 

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

 

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
