Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locums Anesthesia Physician to provide coverage at a healthcare facility in Gainesville, FL. This position is full time with Monday to Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with optional weekend shifts and on-call availability.

As a Locums Anesthesia Physician, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care across a variety of cases, including general surgery, orthopedic, GI-endoscopy, pediatric, urology, robotics, OB/GYN, bariatrics, vascular, cardiac ablations, interventional radiology, neuro-interventional radiology, neuro, and bronchoscopy procedures. Trauma and cardiac surgeries will be handled by the cardiac MD team.

The position involves an average of 1,800 cases per month, with approximately 325 OB deliveries each month.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• Must be Board Certified in Anesthesia
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license
• BLS certification required
• Experience in a variety of anesthesia procedures, with no trauma or cardiac surgery involvement
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
