Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our community health team in Hominy, Oklahoma. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive team environment and work-life balance. New graduates are welcome to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients within the scope of family practice and internal medicine.
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients based on clinical knowledge, physical examinations, medical history, and diagnostic testing.
  • Order appropriate laboratory and imaging studies, interpret test results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Refer patients to specialists as appropriate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals on care coordination.
  • Promote preventive health care and patient education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or related primary care specialty.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Primary Care or related field.
  • Unrestricted DEA and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs registration.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Professionals.
  • Knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and community health systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in working in a rural or underserved community setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment.
  • Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations.
