Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Board Eligible or Board Certified Hospitalist to join our dedicated inpatient care team at a growing, physician-led health system in Great Falls, MT. Work in a state-of-the-art 36-bed acute care hospital with a highly collaborative team and a manageable patient census. Enjoy a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule and a positive work culture that supports clinical excellence and work/life balance.
Highlights:
- Hospital-employed, full-time position
- 7-on/7-off schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Work alongside:
- Dedicated Nocturnists
- Pulm/Critical Care physician
- Experienced Nurse Practitioner also working 7-on/7-off
- Daily census averages 15 patients
- 1:5 nursing ratio, adjusted by patient acuity
- Procedure experience preferred but not required
- Strong support from Telemedicine Critical Care/Pulmonology and a full panel of on-call specialists
- Robust EMR and efficient workflows
Hospital Features:
- Acute care hospital with:
- 36 inpatient beds
- 10-bed open ICU
- 2 cardiac cath lab suites
- 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit
- 5 ORs + 4 OR Surgery Center
- 5 observation beds
- 8-bed Emergency Department staffed with highly experienced clinicians
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience in hospital medicine; procedural skills preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
