Job Description
**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery (NP/PA) | Clinic + Call | Spokane, WA (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Ongoing need due to scheduling gaps
- Opportunity to work 2–3 weeks at a time for continuity
- High-acuity setting in a Level I trauma center
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 04/03/2026
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule: Weekdays onsite; call rotation with 20-minute response time
- Patients per Day: 10–15
- Call Details: Beeper call, floor calls included
- EMR: Epic
**Requirements**
- Board Certified NP/PA in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active WA license or IMLC (WA preferred for short credentialing timeline)
- ACLS
- Vein harvesting experience required
- Robotic cardiac/thoracic surgery experience a plus
**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Cardiothoracic surgical assist and inpatient/outpatient care
- Typical Procedures:
- Vein harvesting
- Assisting in cardiac/thoracic surgeries (DaVinci robotic experience preferred)
- Coordination with RN, APP, and surgical staff teams
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed (pre-approval required for long-term housing; capped at $3600/month)
