**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: 12/21/2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule: Week on/week off (Mon–Mon), 8a–4p then pager call
- Patients per Day: ~10; 6–8 seen on call with 4–5 admissions
- Call Details: Beeper call; 30-minute response; 1 week at a time
- EMR: Epic

**Requirements**
- Board Certified
- Active IN license or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS
- Clean NPDB, no outstanding malpractice

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: General GI, bread-and-butter cases (no EUS/ERCP)
- Procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Bleeder fulguration
- Injection of varices
- PEG
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry, manometry interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible), colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Support: 3 RNs, 3 MAs, 1 APP, 2 office staff
- Beds: 20 GI beds (170 inpatient total; 24 ICU beds)
- Anesthesia/MAC available; conscious sedation optional

**Compensation**
