Pediatric Cardiology opening in Detroit, MI (Permanent)
This is a permanent position.
Opportunity Details:
Full-time employed position with immediate availability
Focus on non-invasive cardiac imaging, fetal cardiology, preventive cardiology, and general pediatric cardiology
Flexible work week:
2 days at the Fetal Care Center and Echo Lab
1 day cardiology clinic
1 day outreach clinic
1 administrative day
On-service coverage: 4–6 times per year on cardiology service
Work with experienced fetal cardiac sonographers, fetal coordinators/navigators, and a dedicated nursing/ancillary staff
Teaching and academic involvement required, with opportunities in fellowship training, education, recruitment, and career development
Academic appointment available through Central Michigan University
Collaboration with Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University School of Medicine
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
1 year of advanced fellowship preferred, but not required
Interest in teaching and research highly desirable
Ability to obtain a Michigan medical license
