• FT schedule -- 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off with guaranteed 40 hour work week
• 3 - 4 OR cases per day, rounding on 10 - 20 patients split between 2 providers
• OR first assist with rounding in floor and CVICU
• 1:5 call rotation with weekend responsibilities
• CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic cases, and vascular procedures required
• Advanced procedures include thoracentesis and chest tube placement
• No clinic responsibilities -- OR and rounding only
• Position requires ACLS certification
