Locums Outpatient Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Outpatient Gastroenterology Physician to join a well-established practice in Marlborough, MA. This is a long-term, 1-year opportunity with a stable Monday through Friday schedule and no call responsibilities, offering excellent work-life balance.

 

Compensation:  $200-$350 Per Hour

 

Position Details:

 

• Duration: 1-year locum assignment
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Load: 14–16 patients per day
• Setting: 100% outpatient – endoscopy focused

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provide high-quality outpatient gastroenterology care
• Perform upper endoscopies and colonoscopies
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions
• Collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology
• Completed Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Active Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Up-to-date CSR and DEA certifications required
