REQUIRED PROCEDURES
 • Acute inpatient care procedures as required by hospitalist practice

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 • Licenses: Active Virginia medical license required
 • Board: Board Certified (ABIM, ABFM, ABEM, AOBEM); ABPS not accepted
 • DEA: Active DEA (pending acceptable)
 • Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, Preeclampsia Certificate required
 • Experience: Residency trained, diploma required
 • Other Qualifications: Immunizations including Flu (within 12 months), MMR, TB (within 12 months)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 • Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage from 7a – 7p shifts
 • Manage admissions, rounding, and acute inpatient care
 • Collaborate with hospital staff and available backup specialties
 • Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
 • Complete onboarding requirements including orientation and EMR training within timeframe
