Locums Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Locums Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care coverage in a well-established outpatient clinic located in Cheshire, Connecticut. This opportunity offers a standard weekday schedule with no call requirements, in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

 

Assignment Details:

• Setting: Outpatient – Primary Care
• Start Date: ASAP, ongoing as needed
• Shift Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Start Time: 8:00 AM
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults (18+ years) only
• Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine wellness visits and follow-up care
• Manage chronic and acute conditions
• Coordinate care and referrals as needed
• Document via EMR system

Requirements:

 

• Active Connecticut NP or PA license
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Experience in internal medicine or adult primary care preferred
