**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule:
- Monday–Tuesday: Clinic and/or procedures (8-hour shifts)
- Wednesday–Friday: Procedures only (Friday may be half-day)
- Call: One weekday per week (optional)
- No weekends
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Privileges: Required (temporary privileges available)
- Estimated Credentialing: 90 days (sooner possible for this request)
- Trauma Level: III
- Patient Volume: ~15 patients per shift
- Beds in Department: 5
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 1 office staff

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Any state license
- Act 10 acceptable
- BLS

**Clinical Details**
- Upper GI Endoscopy:
- With biopsy
- With foreign body removal
- With fulguration of bleeder (cautery/laser)
- With injection of varices
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy:
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Sigmoidoscopy (preferred)
- Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Not Required: ERCP, esophageal dilatation/manometry, PEG

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
