Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Infectious Disease Physician for an urgent, short-term locum assignment in Maryland.
Opportunity Highlights
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Telephone/beeper call only during scheduled hours (no nights or weekends)
- EMR: Meditech and Epic
- Emergency privileges available (approx. 21 days for full credentialing)
- Covering for an employed Infectious Disease physician on PTO
- 100% adult patient population
- Daily responsibilities include hospital rounds and responding to new consults
- Average of 2 new consults while on call
- Independent practice—no APP or mid-level support
Requirements
- Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- Maryland medical license and CSR license
- Active DEA
- Minimum 1 year of post-training experience preferred
