**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: June 30, 2026
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule:
- Clinic: Mon–Thu 8a–5p; Fri 8a–12p
- Procedures: Mon–Thu 7:30a–3:30p; Fri 7:30a–1p
- Call: 24/7 during assignment weeks (Friday–Friday or Monday–Monday)
- Setting: Inpatient & outpatient GI service
- EMR: Epic
- Privileges: Required (no temporary privileges available)
- Estimated Credentialing: 45–60 days
- Call Type: Beeper, 20-minute response time, 1:5 ratio
- Support Staff: 2 APPs
- Patient Population: Adult, unassigned patients

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Pennsylvania license
- ACLS, BLS
- Minimum 1 year of GI experience

**Clinical Details**
- Required:
- Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeding control, variceal injections, PEG placement)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (biopsy and polypectomy)
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Not Required: ERCP, EUS
- Duties: Office visits, procedures, rounding, ED and inpatient consults

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
