Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Tampa, Florida. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients in the emergency department
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with emergency physicians, nurses, and other providers
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the EMR
Requirements:
- Active Florida license
- National board certification as an NP or PA
- BLS and ACLS required
- Previous Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred
- Ability to manage acute and emergent conditions autonomously
