Job Description
- Monday - Friday 7 am - 3 pm schedule with some days extending to 5 pm
- 5 - 6 cases per weekend coverage
- Cardiac service line with 300 - 350 pump cases annually
- 1:6 or 1:7 call rotation with weeknight pager call
- Cardiac and general anesthesia including TEEs, valves, and structural hearts
- Skills include blocks, epidural placement, and ECMO management
- Weekend call covers Saturday and Sunday with typical completion by 3 pm
- Two operating rooms running daily until 8:30 pm
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
