We are seeking an experienced Locums Neurosurgery Physician to provide coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Anderson, South Carolina. This assignment involves inpatient hospital call and neurosurgical case coverage, with a focus on adult and trauma cases. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified with active South Carolina licensure and DEA, and capable of handling complex neurosurgical emergencies.
Assignment Details:
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- On-Call Coverage: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Open Dates:
- November 27 (7:00 AM) – December 1 (7:00 AM)
- December 24 (7:00 AM) – December 29 (7:00 AM)
- Setting: Hospital/Inpatient Only
- Call Ratio: N/A
- Average Surgical Cases Per Day: Varies
- Trauma Level: II
- EMR: Epic
Procedures Required:
- Neurosurgery cases (Adult & Trauma)
- Brain bleed management/stoppage
- Spine surgery procedures, including laminectomy
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Active South Carolina medical license and DEA
- Proven experience managing neurosurgical trauma cases
- Comfortable providing full-scope inpatient neurosurgical coverage
