- Setting: Inpatient consult support for OB/GYN and ED (no pediatric unit)
- EMR: MEDHOST
- Privileges: Not required
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- Estimated Credentialing: ASAP
- Call: Beeper, 30-minute response time

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active Texas license
- ACLS and PALS required
- NRP certification required

**Clinical Details**
- No dedicated pediatric unit — consult support only
- Expected duties:
- Support OB/GYN with newborn resuscitation
- Support ED with pediatric consults
- Skills preferred:
- Neonatal and pediatric ventilation management
- Intubation (newborn + pediatric)
- Central/UVC/UAC lines
- Lumbar puncture, chest tube, thoracentesis, paracentesis
- Needle decompression, x-ray/ECG interpretation
- Circumcision and minor procedures

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
